Back to Back Installations:

Explanation: The indoor unit is located on your desired wall with the outdoor unit sitting opposite on the same wall. Working with the nearest available plug point for 9000 BTU, 12000 BTU, 18000 BTU, and 24000 BTU Inverters and Non-inverters units only.

Air Conditioner Back to Back Package Includes:

• Up to 3 meters of copper piping, PVC drain pipe, and cable.
• Mounting brackets
• Installation to a maximum height of 3 meters above ground level.
• Drilling of required holes for piping.
• Hole fillers (not painted)

Air Conditioner Back to Back Package Excludes:

• Additional electrical requirements for 24000 BTU air conditioners and above.
• Installation at heights above 3 meters above ground level.
• Removal or decommissioning of existing units.
• All required building work.

Air Conditioner Installations that ARE NOT Back to Back:

Power Home will quote for the standard installation package charge for Back to Back in addition to all required materials needed.

This will include but is not limited to the following:

• Additional required piping and cabling that is not included in the Back to Back package above.
• Electrical work and connection to the main switchboard.
• Additional travel expenses for locations that are 45 minutes away and over from our main distribution central point.

Additional Extras not included in Back to Back package:

• External isolators
• Additional electrical work required
• Additional refrigerant piping
• Insulation drain pipe
• Trunking to cover copper piping and drainage

Please note: If you are unsure if your installation falls under the Back to Back package or you know that it certainly does not, Power Home provides a call-out option to assess the location and installation to quote accurately.

• R350 call-out fee payable by the customer to Power Home, which is refundable upon acceptance of the final quote once payment is received in full.
• Call-out fees are subject to change if you are 45 minutes outside of our main distribution center.
• The final quote will be presented to the customer on the same day after the installer has left the premises for the final decision by the customer.

Important Notes:

Customers who have selected the Back to Back package and the installer has deemed the installation as not Back to Back will be charged for additional materials required, including a transport fee to procure additional materials due to the quote in question being subject to change.

All customers will receive a complementary follow-up call by our sales team for confirmation of purchase and clarity over installation type.
